Terms of use and sale

Translation. Only the French version is legally binding.
In force from 29 September 2026

In short: Voltena manages the charging of your Stellantis electric car through your manufacturer account. The subscription goes through the App Store or Google Play, starts with fourteen free days and can be cancelled at any time in the store settings.

1. Who provides the service

The Voltena app is published by Ayoub Laarobi, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel), 200 rue de Séverac, 30340 Salindres, France, RCS Nîmes 891 296 089 (the ‘publisher’). Contact: [email protected]. Full details are given in the legal notice.

2. What Voltena does

Voltena reads the status of your vehicle from its manufacturer's servers and sends charging commands to them in order to:

Voltena is a service independent of Stellantis and of the Peugeot, Citroën, Opel, DS and Vauxhall brands, with no connection to them. It relies on the manufacturer's connected services, which the manufacturer may modify, restrict or discontinue at any time. These services must be active on your vehicle.

3. Your account

You sign in with the credentials of your manufacturer's app. Your password is never stored; only the access authorisation issued by the manufacturer is kept, and changing that password revokes it. Remote commands also require authorisation by SMS code. You are responsible for the accuracy of the settings you enter (charge limit, off-peak hours, electricity price).

4. Subscription and prices

5. Right of withdrawal and refunds

As a consumer, you have fourteen days from subscribing to withdraw, without giving any reason (article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, Code de la consommation). The free trial covers this period: cancelling during the trial involves no payment. If you ask for the paid service to start before the end of this period, you may still withdraw, but the period already elapsed may be payable. For a purchase made in the App Store or Google Play, refunds are requested from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google, which grant them under their own rules.

6. What Voltena cannot guarantee

The publisher does everything possible to keep the service working, but cannot guarantee that it is permanently available or that every command succeeds: a car without network coverage or in deep sleep, or an outage of the manufacturer's servers, may prevent a charge from being stopped or started. Voltena tells you when it detects this. You remain responsible for your vehicle, its charging and your electrical installation. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for indirect damage (extra electricity costs, insufficient range, battery wear); nothing in these terms limits the rights you have by law as a consumer.

7. Personal data

The data processed, its purpose and your rights are described in the privacy policy.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its name, its logo and its content belong to the publisher. You receive a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use for the duration of your subscription. The manufacturers' trade marks are cited solely to indicate compatibility.

9. End of the service

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings › Delete my account); remember to cancel the subscription in the store as well. The publisher may suspend an account in the event of abusive use or use contrary to these terms, in particular if it endangers the service's access to the manufacturer's servers. Should the service come to an end, subscribers would be notified at least one month in advance.

10. Changes

These terms may change. Significant changes are announced to you in the app or by email before they apply; if you refuse them, you can cancel.

11. Disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If a problem arises, first write to [email protected]. Failing agreement, you may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator (médiateur de la consommation). The consumer mediator is in the process of being appointed; their contact details will be given here. The dispute may also be brought before the competent court.
